The short version

TJfly is a flight metasearch and trip-cost tool. Guest searches may be processed without an account; signed-in history, alerts and purchases use the minimum account and itinerary data needed for those features.

What we store, and where

• Language, currency and optional passport-country preference — stored locally by default; saved to an account only when you choose account history.
• Search queries — processed to obtain results and may be saved for signed-in history or a watch.
• Account and alert data — email, saved itinerary, threshold and delivery state. We never collect a passport number.
• Purchase metadata — order and entitlement events; full card details stay with the hosted checkout or app store.

What we do not do

• No undeclared advertising tracker or link-interception script, and no sale of personal data.
• No account is required for free searching. Paid alerts remain unavailable until the provider and refund lifecycle are verified.
• Booking is completed at the airline or agency you choose — their privacy policy applies to the booking itself.

Data sources

Every flight result must identify the responding source, freshness and bookability. Visa information is advisory reference data from the open Passport Index dataset. Cost estimates are marked; missing mandatory costs remain UNKNOWN.
